Nervous about starting lessons? This stress-free, off-road opportunity is the perfect way to build confidence away from traffic.
What to Expect
Enjoy a 30-minute 1-on-1 session tailored exactly to your age and ability. You will be driving a fully dual-controlled vehicle, meaning your instructor has their own set of pedals and can step in at any time ensuring complete safety and taking all the pressure off you!
Under the watchful eye of a fully qualified instructor, you will learn:
- Moving off & accelerating smoothly
- Braking & clutch control
- Correct road positioning
- Steering techniques
- Traffic sign recognition
- Advanced skills (e.g. reverse parking)

Important Details & Requirements
- Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled slot. There will be plenty of driver-related activities to enjoy while you wait!
- Requirements: Minimum age of 15. Minimum height of 140cm (4ft 7in).
- Clothing: Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe footwear are strictly required.
- Medical & Accessibility: If the driver has specific accessibility requirements or medical conditions, please contact us prior to booking.
⚠️ Parental Consent & Safety
Please bear in mind that anything involving motor vehicles carries inherent risks. While our dual-controlled cars and qualified instructors ensure maximum in-car safety, it is the responsibility of parents and guardians to keep their children safe while walking around the venue. A parental consent waiver will be required upon booking. All under-18 participants must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the experience. Adults will watch from outside the vehicle

Make a day out of it! Clacton Shopping Village will be fully open, offering food, drinks, restrooms, and retail therapy. The Shopping Village will also be giving away driving lesson vouchers to help get you on your way when you turn 17
